Dear Bears started out as a partnership of two zany bear lovers who believe whatever is worth doing should be done well (and often needs more than one) and if you're gonna do it - HAVE FUN! Our company was started in 1993 based on a glimmer of an idea that making bears from recycled fur coats might be an interesting thing to do. Now the business concerns itself mostly with custom orders - we dabble with a few for ourselves.

Over ten years ago Dear Bears launched its MarketPlace which provides bear makers with a wide range of supplies that are priced to suit the bear artist or casual crafter. Catalogues are available on request.
